We have some important activities in our parish this week that needs your prayer, support and participation.

Firstly, our ‘PARISH MISSION’ starting January 31st until February 2nd, 2012. I would like to invite and encourage all parishioners to attend and learn from our speaker.

Secondly, is the Youth activity at Camp Homewood on February 3rd until February 5th, 2012. I would like to ask you to pray for our youth and for the success of their retreat.

We are now in the Fourth Sunday in Ordinary Time. The readings challenge us to do two things. First, as prophets ourselves, we need to develop a personal, intimate relationship with God, without which, we cannot fully understand the will of God in our lives. Second, as teachers ourselves, we have to put flesh on the Word of God by practicing what we preach, without which, we can not be credible witnesses of Jesus to others.
